Hideous. Waaaaaaaay overrated. Super loud parties everywhere, even on Sunday night. People watching movies outside so loud my Motorhome is shaking over 50 yards away. The park staff is nonexistent. Won’t ever stay here, or any other Mississippi park again. Pictures on website are totally misleading. Zero beach within 2 miles of this place. Garbage.

Our group camping experience was so much fun. The Halloween festivities was thrilling. Everyone decorates and wears costumes for trick or treating. Was a blast!

We spent New Years weekend. Didn't get to see much of the facilities as we had rain the entire weekend. What we did see looked very we'll kept. Hosts were accommodating. Nice place to stay outside of New Orleans. We drove in for the Sugar Bowl as we didn't want to deal with the hassle and pricing of staying in New Orleans.

If you coming in on a holiday weekend be sure you make a reservation. But a nice campground. Only one section can you actually see the gulf but it's not that far of a walk. Pools are closed now, so can't comment on them. They look nice for summer. Bath rooms look clean. Laundry is reasonable not sure about function yet. Hard to believe that when we arrived on Wednesday the place was practically deserted busby Friday night the whole place is packed.

Wave pool was great, decent slides, but the rates were horrible. When asked for a discount for our group of 24 people , we were told that it has to be 50 or more!! No military discount, AAA or state residence discount as well. Our group of teens and adults were in the area on a mission trip serving the lord and rebuilding homes for people in need. I was disappointed that we couldn't even have a picnic lunch by the water park. Instead directed to a pavilion on the other side of the park where we were told we couldn't grill. The up side, we had fun even after the disappointing start as we needed to cool off and relax as we had a hard weeks work ahead of us. Please consider a discount for Mission Groups that visit the area, because in Slidel they are housed on a weekly basis.
